London is the capital of Great Britain. It is one of the biggest business and financial centers of the world. London has a great impact on politics, education, entertainment, mass media, culture, fine art and fashion industry. The city is a home to people of over 300 nationalities who influenced the development of this culture.
The culture of the United Kingdom is rich and diverse. It has a significant impact on the global culture. Great Britain possesses strong cultural ties with its former colonies, especially with the states where the English language is an official language. During the last half-century, a considerable contribution into the British culture was made by immigrants from Indian subcontinent and the Caribbean countries. During the process of formation of the United Kingdom, it has included cultures of the former independent states. So, they can be described separately. Those people who are official residents of England, are called the British.
The EAF Museum is working on studying, preserving and popularization of culture of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
