In the late 19th century, human figure in the Western sense was being established in Turkish painting, especially with Osman Hamdi Bey Impressionism, among the contemporary trends, appeared later on with Halil Pasha Other important Turkish painters in the 19th century were Ferik İbrahim Paşa, Osman Nuri Paşa, Şeker Ahmet Paşa, and Hoca Ali Riza.

Carpet (halı) and tapestry (kilim) weaving is a traditional Turkish art form with roots in pre-Islamic times. During its long history, the art and craft of weaving carpets and tapestries in Turkey has integrated numerous cultural traditions.
Turkish folk dress is a traditional style of clothing worn primarily in the rural parts of Turkey. Within the folk style of clothing are many variations based on region, gender, ethnicity, and class of the wearer.
Folk clothing in Turkey embodies the crossing over and interaction of the various cultures in and around Anatolia. On top of that, the fashion of each region in Turkey tends to reflect the nature of its people. And the traditional fashion of the Black Sea region is bold and proud-spirited, seen in its deep colors and vivid patterns. Features that are present in most of Turkey include stripes, baggy clothing, multiple layers, and bright colors. 
In Turkish culture, music is of great importance. Turks are very fond of singing and playing instruments. Turkish musical culture has absorbed elements of the cultures of many countries: Central Asia, the Balkans, Greece and others. Traditions from the time of the Ottoman Empire have also been preserved.
Turkish cuisine is largely the heritage of Ottoman cuisine. Ottoman cuisine contains elements of Turkish, Byzantine, Balkan, Armenian, Kurdish, Arab and Persian cuisines.
